Why do I
need a website?
A website provides instant access
to information about your company, whether it be your products
or just your phone number. It can be on 'online brochure',
it can sell your products direct or it can just have some
information about your company.
How do I get online?
Many people think because they have
registered their domain name - that's it, they're online.
Even if you have your domain name, it still has to be hosted
somewhere.
As with most things, the
cheapest option may not be the best. You may be offered
'free webspace', which is fine if you're wanting a modest
web presence or a personal website, but if it's for your
company and you're expecting many people to visit your site,
it may not be worth the risk. They may charge extra for
more bandwidth (if you get a lot o f 'hits'), for reply
forms and the connection to the webspace may be unstable
with too many people using it. We use an established Internet
Provider, who give us control over the webspace for our
clients and are very reliable. Even if you have registered
your domain name, just tell us who registered it for you
and we can transfer it to our webspace.
Alternatively, you may have
webspace available with your own Internet Provider, in which
case we just need the Host, Username, and Password to upload
your website to our webspace.
What about Search Engines?
We will automatically optimise your
new website for most search engines, and submit it to the
top ten. For £250, we will submit, analyse, and monitor
your website progress within the top searchengines for a
year and send you reports.
What else do you do?
Being experienced Graphic Designers
as well as web designers, we can handle the rest of your
literature to compliment your website. We can produce postcards
to advertise your new website, banner adverts for searchengines,
or design a brochure with your web address on.
Or if we're designing a
brochure for you, we can redesign your website to match
your brochure!
How much do you charge?
We're not the cheapest, but we're
definitely not the dearest either!
We offer good, value-for-money design without denting your
budget too much. We generally charge £30 per hour
for design, which is usually around £100 per page
for a website.

costs.
We're a design agency
who don't have in-house web design, can you help us?
We already have a number of consultants,
marketing and internet companies who outsource to us. Contact
us for a discussion.
What's the process?
A design consultant will contact
you to discuss your requirements and then arrange a meeting
to take it a step further. To save time, often we will put
temporary designs online in a hidden url so you can view
progress. Or if its print work, we can email PDFs of work
for you to view. We will design an initial 'stylesetter'
for you to approve and providing you can supply all relevant
information, we will produce work for you in-time and on-budget.
